3 Sneaky Ways to Make Money for Your Next Trip
Hey guys! So I know that there is a lot of information out there on how to SAVE money to put towards travel, a house, a car, Trader Joe’s Trips, etc. But there really isn’t much information out there on ways to MAKE EXTRA MONEY! It is so easy now to have a side hustle and we want to share with you some of our favorite resources that have helped pad our travel budget and has helped us take trips that we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to take. Here are our top three sneaky ways to make money for your text trip:

1. Poshmark

Make money with Poshmark and helelele.com To date, we have made $681 with Poshmark! Yep, you read this right! This app is a consignment app where you can sell your clothes. I love this app compared to regular consignment store because you don’t have to wait to have someone sort through your clothes just to tell you “um, these clothes are too worn or out of style” (and I’m my head in like ummm I beg to differ! 😂). Anyways, with Poshmark you can put your clothing on their site and set a price that you are willing to sell your clothing for. (Poshmark does take a small percentage of your sales). The nice thing is, when a piece of your clothing sells, Poshmark emails you a prepaid shipping label which makes shipping your clothing a breeze! It’s honestly such an easy app to use and a great way to make money. Get some extra $$$ when you sign up with the code KILEYHAYDEN and click on this link here.

2. AirBnB

Make money with AirBnB and Budgettravellove.com

AirBnB is another great way to make money. If you have an extra room, or if you are going out of town for a bit, put your space on AirBnB to make some serious profits! We have rented our space on AirBnB and it is such a breeze to make some extra money! Sign up here for some extra $$$ when you take your first trip or rent your space for your first time!

3. Swagbucks

make money with Swagbucks with Budget Travel Love Swagbucks is a website that gives you points called “Swagbucks” that you can redeem for gift cards. 1. Good tips. I would really like to try Swagbucks, as I’ve heard good things. I wouldn’t want to do AirBNB unless I could rent out the whole house, but it could definitely be a good side income for some.

  2. Good post, I tried swagbucks and it got me nowhere.. haha You should make your links take you to a new page so it doesn’t go off your page when they are clicked, I just clicked into Swagbucks and ended up off your page then ended up closing instead of backing up, might help in the future!! Thanks for sharing these tips!

  3. You post is going to help a lot of travellers. After all, who would not want to make money when travelling, especially when you slow travel :). Have learnt new things from your post and would definitely love to try something soon!

  4. These are great ideas to save some money!! I have yet to use any of those, but we also don’t have a spare room to rent out! But I would love to do more swag bucks and poshmark!!

    1. Unfortunately no 😔 but I hope that they develop international shipping soon! I wonder if there is a similar app out there that is UK based? I think Vinted might be one?
